Vietnam
At Open Hearts Foundation, our team is dedicated to giving back to our communities. That's why we started in our home country: Vietnam.
Scroll down to read updates about our visits to community centers, shelters, and schools. We have also documented our manufacturing process, in hopes that you are able to understand how we source our face-masks.
We appreciate your time and compassion.
Our impact
tah tong textile group
Open Hearts spent the day at our generous sponsor and partner Tah Tong Textile Group in Ba Ria, Vungtaug, Vietnam. We are sincerely grateful to Tah Tong Textile Group in helping our team produce the antimicrobial fabrics which were used for our masks. We got a very insightful tour at their factory from seeing raw cotton being produced into yarn. From their yarns, Tah Tong Textiles was able to leverage their vertical supply chain to assist us in designing, printing and manufacturing our masks. They also assisted us in the shipping logistics of ours masks to Singapore and the USA.
phuoc thien primary school
AMA Foundation and Open Hearts had a great visit to Phuoc Thein Primary School. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to AMA Foundation. It is through their support that Open Hearts has made a greater impact here in Vietnam. A special thanks to Peter Mach, founder of AMA Foundation, who graciously sponsored Open Hearts with purchasing our masks for his foundation. Through AMA Foundation, we donated over 300 antibacterial facemasks to Phuoc Thien Primary School. We are very grateful to AMA Foundation for the support they have given us to help these underprivileged children. Phuoc Thein Primary School was built in 1991 and currently has over 65 students. The school focuses on an overlooked issue- giving education to children who cannot obtain a house-hold registration, and as a result, cannot enroll into a Vietnamese public school. We are glad to support local causes and gain such a amazing experience!

saigon children
Open Hearts Vietnam has partnered with local non-profit charity Saigon Children, bringing joy to many children as we donated over 2400 masks. We hope to ensure a safe educational experience for children across the world.
Saigon Children Charity was established in 1992 to help educate children living in poverty, those struggling with a disability or those who are vulnerable. They build schools, provide scholarships and vocational training to enable the children who struggle the most to gain a basic education and equip themselves with the skills necessary to work their way out of poverty.
A message from Justine Mach,
head of CLIENT-RELATIONS AND DISTRIBUTION:
Hi everyone,
While the COVID-19 situation in Vietnam begins to settle and things begin to return to normal, our organization is continuing to try our very best to respond to every need of the underprivileged communities in Vietnam. This includes the face-masks that will be manufactured and distributed to those communities through donations like yours!
Thanks to your help, we have been able to manufacture 3,000 masks that will be delivered to orphans, abused youth, and the homeless.
To be able to see the impact we make on others is truly amazing, and we are very appreciative of your help and generosity throughout our project. We really hope you can continue to be apart of our effort!
